The college was founded and is being managed by BHILAI EDUCATION TRUST, Bhilai in collaboration with Bhilai Steel Plant. Bhilai Education Trust is duly registered as a public Trust, and was constituted in year 1978 in Bhilai by the initiative, involvement and support of Bhilai Steel Plant which consists of Trustees representing Plant, Industrialists, businessmen and eminent citizens of Bhilai.

P.G. College of Nursing, Bhilai a unit of Bhilai Education Trust & having completed 25 years of its existence, seeks to contribute to the health needs of people by training nursing professional students. We, in P.G. College of Nursing have the best teaching facilities including well trained, experienced and dedicated teachers, most modern infrastructure and hostels with uninterrupted water & electric supply. The location of the College was wisely selected nearer to most modern multi-specialty 1000 bedded J.L.N. Hospital & Research Centre of SAIL, Bhilai Steel Plant, best suited for study environment and in pollution & noise free zone.

The college is spread over an area of 14 acres and was formally inaugurated on 4th February 1987 by His Excellency the then Governor of M.P., Prof. K.M. Chandy in the presence of the Honorable Chief Minister Shri. Motilal Vora. Our teaching faculty includes highly qualified experienced, dedicated and student-caring teachers. The spectacular success achieved is mainly a creation of unusual foresight exceptionally dynamic, leadership and a team work of faculty and management.

Our aim is to provide educational programmes through which the Nursing Graduates/Post Graduats will be prepared to assume responsibility in total health care of the people as professional nurses. We not only nurture them in academic field but also help them to excel in extra- curricular activities viz. Computer, e-learning, platform presentation etc. we also try for their placement in renowned Hospitals/ Institutes during their final year of study.
